SOPA, OTRA VES
As a fellow from
Soup Revisited
The author recalls her grandmother’s life—her origins in Carlos Casares, her move to Chaco, Argentina, her work as a schoolteacher, and her family—and how, after her death, she inherited
her books and recipes.
From these memories, aromas, and kitchen scenes, she develops an artistic project titled Soup Revisited, which intertwines memory, tradition, affection, and transformation.
Soup becomes a symbol of a meaningful everyday ritual:
a slow gesture of love, a nourishing dialogue, and a silent transmission
of knowledge.
The project unfolds through three scenes that explore a shared history,
an emotional landscape, and the symbolic meanings embedded in
this meal.
LABA becomes the space where the author delves deeper
into her heritage, her bond with her grandmother,
and her own path toward art.
